Generally speaking, VIP Days are best for established brands, but the approach may differ depending on how you like to work. 

THE DESTINATION TYPE:

This is the business owner/entrepreneur who moves fast. Likes speed and acceleration, but demands quality and expertise in all things and is willing to pay for it. Too much process makes them itchy, 

 

A VIP DAY for this client would likely be focused on a punch-list of deliverables with minimal collaboration. Process is secondary to the deliverables. 

THE JOURNEY TYPE:

The business owner/entrepreneur who likes to feel into things. They’re the “journey” over destination type and likes to move with space and grace. They thrive on deep collaboration and nurturing the process through.

 

Their VIP DAY would likely be focused on more discussion, exploration, and collaboration as we work through their punch-list. Deliverables are secondary to process.

• Once you book your date, we’ll have an INTENSIVE INTAKE call to sort out all your needs and goals for your day. 
 

• From there, I’ll put together a customized CREATIVE BRIEF to support and structure your day. 

 

•  We’ll then have another Zoom call to review and tweak as needed. 

 

• The brief will include a request for any assets, information, homework, etc., to be received prior to your day. You'll be provided with details and instructions around this. 

THE DAY OF.

•  We’ll start our day off with a quick connect via phone or Zoom. 

 

 

•  I will be accessible to you all day over Zoom, FaceTime, and phone as I work through your brief. My schedule and environment will be cleared of any distractions for the entirety of your VIP Day.

 

 

•  The demands of your brief will determine how much contact throughout the day best supports it. For production heavy punch-lists, less is more. If it’s heavy on collaboration, strategy, and consultation time, then more is more. 

 

 

• To make the most of your investment, you will want to be readily available throughout the day without distractions or time limitations, so best to plan for that. 

 

 

• The last hour of the day will be dedicated to an assessment call to wrap up the day and begin preparation on your deliverables. For more involved deliverables, delivery may extend to later in the evening or next day. We'll discuss as we go so you can plan accordingly.

Brand development projects and rebrands at the inception level are NOT available within the VIP DAY format.

WHY?

Because properly executing them requires more time and thought than this format allows. {If you're in need of these services, please reach out to schedule a discovery call.}

Utilize a VIP DAY to assess 
and strategize a new business or project idea to see how viable it feels before investing further. 
  
OR:
For brands in the development process, consultation and 
strategy services are highly beneficial. They'll offer guidance and direction on visual elements (color theory, typography, brandmarks, etc.), strategy, positioning, and messaging efforts. As well as make sure all the nuances throughout are aligned with form and function, which can be notoriously overlooked and lead to less engagement over time.

ARE WE PHYSICALLY TOGETHER ALL DAY?
While you have access to me all day as I work through your brief, you don't have to be with me all day (virtually or otherwise). However, to make the most of your investment, you want to be readily available throughout the day without distractions or time limitations, so best to plan for that. 

CAN I CREATE MY BRAND IN A DAY?
Logo and brand development services ARE NOT available for VIP DAYS. Creating the initial brand for any endeavor takes thought, time, and process. While we could get something aesthetically pleasing pulled off in a day, it would lack the foundational strategy a brand needs to have at its core to grow, evolve, and best support legacy and pivot demands. 

WHAT IF WE DON'T GET THROUGH THE WHOLE BRIEF?
VIP Days are based on time over deliverables. If the pre-planned brief isn't completed by the end of day, what's remaining will have to be re-assessed and rolled into another day or project rate, if needed.

That said, with so much planning, collaboration, and constant communication throughout the entire process, it won't come as a surprise if the brief is not completed exactly as planned. It usually means that together we made some pivots and decisions along the way to focus on certain elements for longer than planned, or something new revealed itself.

If it's due to logistical issues on my part (I became unavailable at any point in the day for some unforeseen reason), I will make that time up to you.

INITIAL DISCOVERY CALL:
Here we'll sort out your needs, wants, and goals for your VIP DAY. I can also answer any further questions about the process and elaborate where needed. 

If we haven't worked together before, this will offer the opportunity to have a meet and greet and decide if working together is a fit. 

If you decide to move forward from there, I'll send you the onboarding paperwork for review. Once that's signed and deposit is in place, I'll begin working on your brief. 


CREATIVE BRIEF REVIEW:
Once I complete your brief, we'll have another call to review and make any adjustments needed to lock in a plan.
